How about Rikku Cosplay?

Final Fantasy X-2: Yuna 07
Yuna's Songstress dressphere that she wore during the concert in Spira is actually made up of Lenne’s memories. This resulted in a sphere screen projecting the both of them singing to everyone in attendance. It was also due to these memories that Shuyin had mistaken Yuna for Lenne and that Yuna thought she had feelings for Shuyin.
She’s so cute! And I love this dress on Yuna, more than her original X-2 attire. Thanks again to Hannah for the photo!

Final Fantasy X-2: Yuna 06
Costume designer for Final Fantasy X-2, Tsukamoto Tetsu states that the radical design changes for Yuna from Final Fantasy X to Final Fantasy X-2 reflect a huge cultural change. Because Yuna, Rikku, and Paine now lives in a more care-free world, the designers wanted them to be able to dress up. Scriptwriter Nojima Kazushige added that Yuna's new outfit was a "natural reaction to the heavy stuff she wore in FFX".
Beautiful cosplay! I love how the cosplayer looks as if she has a secret that she's not about to tell. Thanks again to Linda for her contributions!

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku 09
One of the most notable changes in Rikku from Final Fantasy X to Final Fantasy X-2 is the design of her outfit. Although there are many similarities to casual wear in X, her clothing is by far more revealing and her hair is much longer. She has also become one of the main protagonists in X-2.
Awesome cosplay of Rikku! Really love how she did her hair on this one! Thanks again to Linda for the contributions!

Final Fantasy X-2: Yuna and Tidus
Two years after the events that occured in Final Fantasy X, Yuna becomes a prominently featured gunner who journeys to Spira to find the truth, and to see Tidus once again. Now 19, she is significantly more confident and outgoing, but also tends to be quite nostalgic. The fayth is her key to finding Tidus, who is the only one able to locate Tidus' scattered pyreflies and reform.
So cute! It seems kids can beat professional cosplayers any day. Thanks to Manuel for sending this in!

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku 08
The prominently featured Theif and one of the main protagonists of Final Fantasy X-2, 17-year-old Rikku showed Yuna a mysterious sphere featuring a familiar person. This convinced Yuna to leave Besaid on a journey, with Rikku following close behind her.
People might say her hair is all wrong since she's not blond, but she still makes a pretty Rikku! Thanks to Benjamin for sending this in!

Final Fantasy X-2: Paine, Rikku, and Yuna
With Tidus’ disappearance, Yuna sets out to find clues to lead her back to him with the help of Rikku and Paine. Although Yuna and Rikku have changed their lives to live in a more positive lifestyle, their companion, Paine, is more emotionally distant and prefers to keep her past a secret from the two.
You have to love the location and the characters’ poses on this photo. Wonderful job on the props too! Great work!

Final Fantasy X-2: Yuna 03
The kind-hearted summoner changes for after the events in Final Fantasy X. Yuna still puts others’ needs before her own, but she becomes more open and direct, looking up to Rikku as a sort of role-model. She even picked up Rikku’s expressions such as “disasteriffic” and “oh, poopie!”; something the younger Yuna wouldn’t have dreamed of saying.
Yuna still seems to be one of the cosplayers’ favorite character to cosplay even though the game’s already somewhat old. I love seeing different versions of Yuna from different parts of the world.
I’m not sure if Koffel is the cosplayer or the photographer of this image since I found it in a random website, but if anyone would like to point me in the right direction where this is originally from, please do let me know!
EDIT: Thanks to Raiku for the Deviant Art Link!

Final Fantasy X-2: LeBlanc
Well, I’ll be.
I believe several people speculated this to be someone from Final Fantasy, though I’ve never really gotten her character name. From what I know about this image (aside from it sitting in my old hard drive for a while now), it was taken from PC Online and she’s a character from an MMO game.
Other than that, the background of the photo looks the same as Aerith Gainsborough’s from Final Fantasy VII. Taken at the same time in the same venue maybe?
EDIT: A huge thanks to Nathan for commenting to let me know that this is LeBlanc, the leader of LeBlanc Syndicate from Final Fantasy X-2!

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku and Yuna
Or should I say, “chibi” Rikku?
I’m not sure about Rikku having a songstress outfit; I’ve never played the game before. But they’re very cute though. I wonder if they’re sisters?
I think Yuna’s hair needs to be a little bit more flipped. I really like her boots though. Great job on this, and thanks for sharing!

Final Fantasy X-2: Yuna
I can’t believe, of all the Yuna’s I’ve featured in this blog, I’ve never featured a Final Fantasy X-2 version of her yet!
Yuna is the leader of the infamous Japanese craze, YRP or “YuRiPa” as one would call it. The events in X-2 occurs after Final Fantasy X and Yuna becomes a gunner and a sphere hunter. She joins Gullwings with the hopes of learning more about the sphere keeping a young man resembling Tidus prison.
I think I prefer the younger Yuna from Final Fantasy X than this one. I’m not entirely sure why. But this seems to be the more popular Yuna of the two. Nice cosplaying!

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku 05
I have a feeling this Rikku maybe the same as this one. Although I’m not all that certain… The costume has a lot of similarities though.
I found this from Baka Yumii’s Flickr… And since I’ve spoken about Rikku in five separate occasions already, I wouldn’t want to bore you all. But do you think this cosplayer could be the same as the first one I posted?

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku 04
Oh my gosh, wow, I can’t believe I totally missed this!
Here I was looking for some awesome cosplays and I didn’t notice Ying Dong of Sanriotown was the legendary Rikku cosplayer!
I say legendary since I’ve seen this photo a long time ago and I always wondered who this girl was! I saw this image in Ying’s Flickr Account and read this caption:
That’s me! Full set of images can be seen at http://video.sanriotown.com/engine/flaon/player?idcode=2462
That is so awesome, Ying! No wonder you love cosplays so much! You make such an awesome Rikku! I hope you do more cosplays and share them on Sanriotown!

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku 03
I found a blog post from Ying Dong about an amazing Rikku cosplay. Ying Dong seems to like this cosplayer because of the “natural fit”, meaning she’s a natural blonde so it fits her to be Rikku perfectly.
I’d have to agree with Ying Dong. I like cosplayers who have that natural look/fit as well. If it just so happens that their natural hair color is the same as the character’s, then it’s plus points!
That said, I decided to post a Rikku who is not your typical Asian cosplayer, but still looks great as well! I found this photo from Movie Tome. There are other cosplays from there I want to feature, but I think this will do for now.
Does this cosplayer rival the Rikku from Ying Dong’s blog? Or maybe the first X-2 Rikku I posted? The 2nd one? I don’t know, I can’t decide. I think they’re all great!

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku 02
There’s a brand new deviant artist who opened her account with a very unique looking Rikku Cosplay!
I don’t know much about Vanne, but her first cosplay entry is really nice! I thought I’ll give her a helping hand on getting some traffic…
Apparently, this is the Lady Luck / Gambler version of Rikku. It’s a nice change from all the Rikku cosplayers I’ve been seeing so far… I’m guessing that’s her real hair, but I can’t be really sure. Animecon 2007 attendess probably recognize her..! Click on the image and see the original picture’s location!
Great Job, Vanne! Looking forward to more of your cosplays soon!

Final Fantasy X-2: Lenne
A tragic love story between a songstress- summoner and a native of Zanarkand, Lenne (or Ren, as the Japanese characters of her name are read) died during the war, leaving her lover Shuyin’s spirit, sealed within the Den of Woes. She then asks for Yuna’s help to free Shuyin’s spirit, showing Yuna their past and allowing Yuna to feel her strong feelings for Shuyin.
And isn’t this cosplayer of Lenne beautiful? I love her eyes and pale complexion… Great job!

Final Fantasy X-2: Rikku
May I make a note please? That I am in no way biased?
I like featuring Asian Cosplayers because they do cosplay the right way. Cosplay is indeed about fun, but you must also consider how you look when you cosplay. There are a lot of photographers in anime cons, and if you aren’t careful in choosing your cosplay, you’ll end up looking silly and getting laughed at all over the Internet..!
Now who in the world would want that?
Take this photo of Rikku for example… In careful consideration? Her clothes really do look silly on any normal day, but this cosplayer’s got Rikku’s attitude down to a pat. This is why she looks good, and not nerdy.
Anyway…
Photo was originally found on Anime Illusions. And giving a nice thank you shout out to Ying Dong for featuring me in her blog. *3*
